New Zealand Long Term Business Visas

New Zealand business visaIf you are interested in running a business in New Zealand, there is also the option to apply for a Long Term Business Visa, a three year work visa.

The Long Term Business visa gives you time to get your business set up before you apply for residence under the Entrepreneur Category or the Entrepreneur Plus Category.

Your partner and children cannot be included in your Long Term Business Visa (LTBV) application – they will need to apply for their own visitor, student or work visas. Your partner will probably be eligible for a work permit once your visa has been approved.

New Entrepreneur Plus Category

From 30 November 2009, a new Entrepreneur Plus category was added to the existing Long Term Business and Entrepreneur visa categories. The Entrepreneur Plus visa allows a faster path to residence for applicants who create at least 3 new full-time jobs and invest $500,000 in their business.
